How to get there

La Tercia is well served by two airports. San Javier (Murcia) is only fifteen minutes away and El Altet (Alicante) is a fifty minute journey. There is no shortage of choice of low-cost airlines operating from both airports e.g. BMI Baby, Monarch, Ryanair, Easy Jet. It is recommended that you hire a car to fully enjoy the area. There is a choice of companies offering new vehicles at very reasonable hire charges. If you let us know your requirements we would be happy to obtain quotes for you.



Directions from San Javier airport to La Tercia
  • Leave airport, follow the main road straight on through the 1st roundabout
  • At second roundabout take the 2nd exit direction Alicante
  • Continue along the AP7 motorway for just a few kilometres (two junctions).
  • Take exit 782 for the road C-3319 direction Murcia, Balsicas
  • Continue on the C-3319 for about 10 minutes
  • Ignore the exit for Sucina/Balsicas and take the next exit after this one signed Balsicas/Roldan
  • At roundabout take 2nd exit direction Gea y Truyols
  • At the next small roundabout, again take the 2nd exit (signed Murcia) and continue
  • Shortly after this take the next available right, following signs to United Golf Resorts. You will be going through groves of orange, lemon and almond trees.
  • This road leads to UGR La Tercia – don’t take any other side roads off it.


Directions from Alicante airport to La Tercia
  • Leave airport, follow signs for E-15/A-7 Murcia and get on the motorway
  • Continue along motorway, direction Murcia
  • After bypassing Murcia city, you will automatically join up with the A-30 your route continues through the Sierra de Carrascoy mountain range all the while remaining on the motorway
  • Take exit 411 entering road C-3319 direction Balsicas|San Javier|Aeropuerto
  • Continue on C-3319 for around 10minutes then take exit for Balsicas
  • At the 1st roundabout take the final (4th) exit for Balsicas on the F-12
  • Cross the bridge over the motorway and at next roundabout take 3rd exit direction Gea y Truyols
  • At the next small roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue
  • Shortly after this take the next available right turn, following signs to United Golf Resorts, you'll soon notice that you are surrounded by groves of orange, lemon and almond trees
  • Remain on this road until you reach La Tercia.
